Oslo Internasjonale Poesifestival 2021 - Palestinsk poesi
Welcome to an evening of Palestinian poetry readings, films, music and a panel debate on contemporary poetry. Three generations of poets directly from Gaza, Jerusalem, Ramallah and the diaspora will read poems that reflect on the occupation and the current situation.

Greetings by Line Khateeb, leader of Palestinian committee in Norway.
Readings: Ghassan Zaqtan reads new poems. Juliane Venter reads Fady Joudahs translations og Zaqtan in English.
Music: Requiem for Raqqa by Jehan Bseiso. Performed by the musicians Rolf-Erik Nystrøm (sax) and Juliana Venter (vocal).
Readings: Jehan Bseiso, Abdallah Salha.
Poetry panel discussion: Maya Abu-Alhayyat, Ghayath Almadhoun, Jehan Bseiso and Dalia Taha on how the occupation has influenced three generations of Palestinian poets.
Music: Julian Venter (vocal) and Rolf-Erik Nystrøm (saxophone) performs a poem by the danish poet Yahya Hassan (1995-1920)
