Nina Rapi is an award-winning bilingual playwright & writer. Plays include: Kiss the Shadow, What reality? Angelstate, Splinters, Raven Revisited (libretto), Un/Certainties, Wild Beats, Reasons to Hide, Edgewise, Lovers.

Her first short film, a poetic narrative, Stay still so you don't hurt, has been screened in Prague, Paris, Santa Cruz amongst others, and has won 5 international Best Experimental Short Film awards.

Her plays have been awarded, produced or presented as staged readings at: New York (Origin Theatre). Southbank Centre (London Literature Festival), Soho theatre studio, ICA (Mardi Gras Arts Festival), Riverside studios, Gielgud theatre (West End Shorts Festival), London. Also, at the University of Oxford, India and Portugal. In Greece: Stegi/Onassis Centre, Theatre Voyiatzis, Theatre Argo, Theatre T, Theatre Embros (4day Stand Queer Festival). Also: Theatro Technis, M. Theatre of Piraeus, National theatre (Analogio Festivals).

She has also published numerous short stories and essays.

Her work has been published in English, Greek, Slovakian, Italian, German.

She has taught Creative Writing/Playwriting at the Universities of London and Greenwich. She was Founding Editor in Chief of Brand Literary Magazine. Essays on her work have been published by Cambridge University Press, Cambridge Scholars Publishing, Routledge, Mimesis, Sokolis et all.
